Nikos is a fully certified mountain guide holding the international
IFMGA / UIAGM / IVBV credential with License Number 2378.


He is a member of the Austrian Mountain Guide Association and the Tiroler Bergsportführerverband - Sektion Innsbruck and works full time as a mountain guide and ski instructor. He is also a Rope Access Technician(Seilzugangsspezialist/Höhenarbeiter EU Standard) Level 2.

Nikos' passion for climbing and the mountains started at age 15 and continued while studying Forestry in Greece. His guiding career started as a climbing instructor in 1998. Nikos became a National Mountain Guide, then an international Alpine and Telemark Ski Instructor at the Norwegian Ski School (Den Norske Skiskole) in 2002, and an international IFMGA mountain guide in 2004.

Whether on granite, limestone, conglomerate, ice, or snow, Nikos loves climbing and skiing. He has been on several expeditions on the Himalayas, Pamir, and Karakorum mountain ranges and has at his credit hundreds of ascents and descents in the Alps, Dolomites and the mountain areas of Europe. He conducts site-safety for industrial workers, workers at height, mountain environments and instructs military special force, fire brigade teams and rescuers.

Nikos speaks fluent English and Greek.
He also flatters words in Italian, French, and German.

An IFMGA / UIAGM / IVBV Mountain Guide holds the highest qualification in mountain guiding, having followed a rigorous training on every mountain discipline, whether skiing, climbing or mountaineering. 

This internationally recognized credential is allowed to be displayed only by IFMGA Mountain Guides.
